This initiative supports actions aimed at supporting and sustaining gender responsive, inclusive and participatory institutional and governance reform processes. The project focuses, among other objectives, on enhancing women’s participation in national and community legislative processes, and supporting inclusive and gender responsive legal, policy and institutional reforms for peacebuilding and national transformation.

This initiative aims at supporting the Women's Caucus in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova to further its role in carrying out the institution's legislative, supervisory and representative functions, focusing on gender mainstreaming in legislation, policies and the budget process by fostering dialogue with CSOs and grassroots organizations, in line with the principle of Leaving No One Behind. Special attention is paid to improving the consultation processes of women parliamentarians with CSOs working on women's rights, children's rights, youth and vulnerable groups.

This initiative aims at strengthening the Central Electoral Comission's role as an electoral authority in organising fair and transparent elections and enhancing the civic participation of citizens. Particular focus is put on enhancing gender mainstreaming throughout activities, including by strengthening the involvement of women in training and mentorship activities to enhance their knowledge and skills as agents of change in their communities. The initiative also aims at raising awareness about the importance of gender responsive budgeting and reporting, gender analysis and gender policy within public policies.

This initiative aims at addressing the main needs of the Parliament of Moldova in the areas of legislation making, oversight and representation during the process of domestic reform spurred by closer relations with the EU. Particular focus is put on enhancing gender mainstreaming throughout activities, including by strengthening the Women's Caucus and the implementation of a Gender Mainstreaming Action Plan. The initiative also aims at providing women MPs with training and mentorship to enhance their skills, and enhancing the gender responsiveness of legislation, by providing technical support to assess the impact of legislation from a Gender & Social Inclusion (G&SI) perspective, and raising awareness about the importance of gender responsive budgeting and reporting, gender analysis and gender policy within the Parliament.

This initiative aims to promote gender equality in decision-making at all levels of governance in Mongolia. The project focuses on achieving this goal through three main objectives, which includes strengthening the legal environment for women’s representation in decision-making, raising public awareness on the issue, and strengthening available support mechanisms.

This initiative aims to support the implementation of Mongolia’s reforms to create an impartial, stable, citizen-centered civil service, with a particular focus on supporting women leaders. The project also focuses on implementation and enforcement of the country’s gender quotas for administrative posts, and developing leadership capacities of women leaders within civil service.

This initiative explores the influence and interconnection of media, communications, and culture on achieving gender equality. A special emphasis is put on gender mainstreaming of public communications, as well as the promotion of gender responsive communication in public administration. This initiative aims to increase local communities’ resilience to disinformation, with a particular focus on gendered disinformation, and develop strategies to combat existing disinformation pertaining to local issues. The project focuses on promoting more gender inclusive democracies by addressing disinformation in media, due to its use as an important source of information in politics and governance.

This initiative aims to strengthen local self-governments through empowered municipal councils that can effectively fulfil their assigned roles of representation, oversight and enacting municipal legislation with active citizen involvement. Building on systemic solutions and recommendations from the Phase 1 mid-term review, Phase 2 put a strong focus on mainstreaming gender equality across all activities as well as strengthening municipal councillors' capacities on gender mainstreaming and gender responsive budgeting.

This initiative aims to strengthen The Gambia's democratic character, to be achieved through six overall objectives, of which the fourth is to promote the civil engagement and ehnance the participation of women, youth and marginalized groups. To this end, the project focuses on supporting civil society through training and mentoring, as well as promoting legal reforms and affirmative initiatives to enhance women's empowerment and effective participation in governance, politics and elections.
